TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

1. Guarantee: All items are sold Òas is where is.Ó Any item found having uncatalogued damage, may be returned for a refund, less shipping costs, within 20 days of auction closing date. Any item with the term Òfine conditionÓ or Ògood conditionÓ, that may have minor imperfections, do not qualify for a refund. After 20 days, no refund will be given for any reason. Also, any manufacturerÕs flaw that, in our opinion, does not significantly detract monetarily from the value of the item being sold will not be considered for refund. Customer satisfaction is our goal. Please call for condition reports, or extra photos before bidding on any item.

2. Absentee bidding: This is a live auction that accepts absentee bids via telephone, fax, e-mail or our secure on-line Internet site. The cut-off time for placing online bids is Thursday, August 2 at 10:00 pm EST; or e-mailed absentee bids by Friday, August 3, at 6:00 pm EST. All absentee bids are executed competitively. Our on-line bidding program

factors the bids and automatically emails outbid notices prior to this feature ending. The on-line bidding feature will

automatically end at 10:00 pm EST on Friday before the live auction begins on the following day. The high bidder at that time is represented against the live bidders. The amount showing on the Internet does not indicate the final amount of the item. The maximum amount entered on the Internet is not disclosed to the audience, but is used on your behalf during the actual live bidding process. Please understand that a person in the audience CAN purchase an item for your maximum bid as we are executing all bids competitively and it depends on the order in which they are executed. If you have any questions, CALL BEFORE BIDDING!!!!

BID INCREMENTS

$20 to $149 - $10.00 minimum raise

$150 to $500 - $25.00 minimum raise

$500 to $1,000 - $50.00 minimum raise

$1,000 to $2,500 - $100 minimum raise

$2,500 to $5,000 - $250 minimum raise

$5,000 and up $500 minimum raise

Bids received less than these increments will be rounded down to the next lowest increment.

3. Terms: Bidding in this auction constitutes acceptance of each of these auction rules. An 18% Buyer's Premium with a 3% discount when paying with cash or check will be added to all successful bids. All bids must be secured with a Visa, MasterCard or American Express number. If you are the successful bidder on any item and wish to pay by check or money order, payment is due within 5 days after the auction. If payment is not received, we will then charge the full amount of your purchases to your credit card. Postal delivery is erratic; therefore invoices will NOT be mailed. We gladly fax or e-mail an invoice to those who supply us with the proper data to do so. Otherwise, we ask that you call us on Tuesday, August 7, after 1:00 pm EST to get results of left bids. In the event of an error or omission, the F.O.H.B.C shall not be held liable.

4. This auction is sponsored by the Federation of Historical Bottle Collectors which is a 501(c)(3) organization.

5. Shipping: Packing and shipping with insurance is available to successful bidders via USPS or UPS. This expense will be billed to the purchaser separately and is non-refundable. If there are any questions that may arise, please do not hesitate to give us a call.
